What we are looking for
# Creative Growth Strategist
What we are looking for
Short mission
Lifely is looking for a Creative Growth Strategist to improve how we find, test, and scale the ideas behind our paid acquisition: angles, offers, hooks, landing-page messaging, and creative briefs.
This is not a pure media buying role. You should understand performance data well enough to decide what to test next, but your main job is to make the creative and offer system sharper so we stop wasting spend on weak ideas and scale the ones that actually move customers.
About Lifely
Lifely is an Australian ecommerce company building and scaling home and family product brands. We work across physical products, direct-response marketing, ecommerce funnels, creative testing, product positioning, and customer psychology.
We move quickly, test often, and care about practical execution. The person in this role should be comfortable turning messy signals into clear next actions.
This role is a good fit if
- You like connecting customer psychology, product positioning, creative, and performance data.
- You are comfortable saying “this idea is weak” and explaining why.
- You can turn messy inputs into a clear test plan.
- You care about what actually sells, not just what looks good.
This role is probably not a fit if
- You only want to manage ad account settings and budgets.
- You prefer brand-only creative without performance accountability.
- You need perfect data before making a practical recommendation.
- You create ideas but do not like following through on what the results teach us.
Responsibilities
What you will own
You will own the creative testing loop end to end:
- Find stronger customer insights, objections, pain points, desires, and buying triggers.
- Turn those insights into ad angles, hooks, offers, landing-page messages, and test ideas.
- Read performance data from paid acquisition channels and identify what should be tested next.
- Write clear creative briefs for designers, editors, AI-assisted production, or other creative contributors.
- Recommend landing-page and offer-message improvements when ads are exposing a funnel problem.
- Build a repeatable system for deciding what to test, what to kill, what to iterate, and what to scale.
- Communicate clearly so the team knows what worked, what failed, and what happens next.
What success looks like
In the first 90 days, success looks like:
- Lifely has a clearer weekly creative testing rhythm.
- Test ideas are based on customer psychology, product understanding, and performance evidence — not random brainstorming.
- Creative briefs are easier for production contributors to execute.
- Landing-page and offer-message opportunities are being surfaced, not ignored.
- The team can see which angles are worth scaling, iterating, or killing.
- Weak ideas stop consuming attention and spend.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Review ad, creative, landing-page, and funnel performance to identify the most useful next tests.
- Develop creative angles, hooks, offers, claims, objections, and messaging hypotheses for Lifely products.
- Translate test ideas into concise briefs that creative contributors can act on.
- Work with performance marketing and ecommerce stakeholders to connect ads, landing pages, offers, stock, economics, and customer intent.
- Maintain a simple testing backlog and prioritization logic.
- Summarize learnings from tests in plain English: what happened, why it may have happened, and what we should do next.
- Use modern tools, including AI where useful, to improve research, ideation, structure, and clarity — without outsourcing judgment.

- Clear written communication.
- Comfortable working remotely with meaningful overlap with Australian hours.
Strong pluses
- Experience with ecommerce, especially physical products.
- Experience improving landing-page messaging or offer presentation.
- Experience working with Meta, Google, TikTok, or similar paid channels.
